I've tried Audacity and other MP3 softwares - but MP3 Merger is the easiest to use. It's very easy to understand visually and it's quick to compress multiple MP3 files. I recommend to anyone!!!

Hallo,

I am a PowerBuilder programmer (ERP, ...) and wrap I use in developing my hobby software. I am creating software for generate running workouts via mp3 now.

Workout = {[level, duration]} + directory with mp3's songs + directory with workout commands in mp3's.

I compute duration of the workout, create long wrapped mp3 from music a then I divide it into segments in needed durations (via mp3 split).

Runners commands (in mp3) are inserted between then. I am inspirated by Adidas miCoach, but my solution seems very simply a cheep.
Generate plans, sharing via web, ... - it has some social potential. The commands can be recorded individually (for rehabilitation exercises, ...).
Adidas miCoach has designed bad plan (oh, my knee!) and is simply and but not simply for users.

There are some problems:
- wrap and split works only with a current directory for outuput
- I have problems with tags
- I need utility, with param "duration" and path (or file list, asterix, ...) and utility will generate / wrap large mp3 with such duration
- I would invite .dll with
* slit,
* merge,
* read and write tags,
* read duration.
You provide most of this functions in wrap and split command line utilities.

I was able to download Mp3 Merger 1.0 and had no problem accomplishing the merger. I am a complete novice, and this worked fine for me.

The application didn't work, and when I added over 100 files, it gave me over 100 memory errors that I could only get out of by killing the process with the task manager. Useless!

It works but is slow, I don't know if it does anything harmful to the sound but it takes a long time to concatenate files.

The product worked well. Initially I was informed that I would need to use the 'raw stream mode'. Once the feature was activated the files were quickly joining even allowing easy copying of the existing ID3 tags. Great product.

I have installed and used Mp3 Merger and used it.
Only problem is , I have to reinstall for every instance of usage.

I had to use this to merge several hundred 30-50 second MP3s. I was really impressed by how fast it worked. I actually thought it was broken it worked so fast, until I tried it again the file I was going to name it already existed. A very nice program.

So far this has been great and easy to use. I've only used it once and it worked. The problem with the trial version was that once I merged tracks on a cd I would have to uninstall it and reinstall it because it wouldn't work two times in a row (I think because of Vista). Hopefully it will keep working on multiple merges.

I ultimately used Switch (to covert my mp3's to the same bit rate) and then File Stitch (to merge them). Not sure why/what caused me to use their's versus your's (cost? d/l was clunky?) but I did give yours first look and something turned me off. No offense. Just trying to help but it was 1am when I was doing the convert/merge and I just needed something to work...fast!

It works very well.

It is the best for a free software. Just hot key don't work on my computer. I like it and I merged hundreds BIBLE'S mp3 file which I downloaded from internet.

Mp3 Merger experience.

I recently downloaded the Mp3 Merger, and was very surprised how easy it was to operate, and also how quickly it performs. Super program!

Works but buggy

The first set of files I joined worked just fine. The subsequent files I joined did not work unless I reinstalled the application. I had to do this for each set of mp3's I wanted to join. There are several bugs in the application, but can get around them to get the job done.

Maybe it`s me..?

I'm using Vista Pro. Installed this app and attempted to merge an audiobook but for some reason it only 'merged' the first file, so instead of having a file of an hour in length, it was only 5 minutes.
Colour me confused...
I will attempt to try again when I have the time to sit and ponder...

Great application for your basic needs.

Although fairly basic, this merger pretty much did the job in combining/merging multiple of my MP3's together, and to top it off it's free!Extremely quick process in downloading, installing and using, this is very useful tool to have.

One or two slight niggles, adding multiple files i found cumbersome(although it could quite easily just be my fault), there is no finished pop taking you to the finished MP3(just means you have to open up the folder again)and one of them sounded wierd in windows media(but the other 3/4 were fine)
only slight concerns, and as its free these sound be looked past.

Not All That Great

The program seemed to work as described, but the resultant .mp3 file had time issues. Even though the file was well over 10 minutes it only had the time listed as the length of the first input file of about 30 seconds. Of course this means it's not possible to jump to different parts of the file. Even thought the program is free it has no value because it does not produce usable files.

I did a quick and fine job of merging 2 files, but I had to put the result through another program to edit the tab.

Simple with little frills

If you are looking to merge mp3s quickly and easily, this is the software for you. I found this because I had several audio books ripped on my hard drive that I wanted to join into larger chapters for use on my Ipod. This software did the trick. Highly recommended.

Great Tool

I found this to be an excellent and fast tool for joining MP3s, I joined a heaps of my ipod files from stories and books and audio dramas into a single files for ease if ipod menu scrolling and playback. If it could also do Mp4's that would be marvelous.

Want to add more files at a time to the list

I found it not possible to add more than 1 file at a time to the list. It would be nice to be able to add many files at a time to the list.

review of tool to merge mp3`s into one

does exactly what I was looking for, for free (one of the few). What more can I ask? The only thing is it was not easy to rearrange the mp3's to be combined once they were in the list; also there should be a clear button.

Shortcuts doesn`t work

it's a good little sw just seems to me it has not finished yet. the shortcuts does not work therefore rearrange the tracks becomes hard (continues right clicking).

it does what it promises to do which is good. overall well done.

It does exactly what I want

This easy to use program did exactly what I want to do: merge more than 1 mp3 file to one. In an easy way and easy to use.
I nice feature would be to give the user the opportunity to update the tag information before writing the new file.
